Cerro Amay: You will protect forests through sustainable agroforestry projects that establish alternate economies and help abandon the maize-based poverty cycle (cut the forest, farm the land, abandon the plot). You will also support forest vigilance and monitoring that curtails illegal deforestation and road building.

Jewels of Quiché–Las Joyas: Our needs are comprehensive, encompassing the coordination of indigenous collaboration, program development, communications, and conservation program incentives that will steer this region toward a green and sustainable future.
